About
A shared record of when the walls changed
Gyms reset on their own schedules and rarely announce it. If you drive forty minutes to a gym you climb once a month, the one thing you want to know is whether the routes are the ones you already did. This site keeps that answer in one place.
How it works
Posting a reset takes a free account. You write what changed ("the cave got stripped, mostly blues") and we work out which wall you mean from that. Grade range, setter and route count are optional extras. If you photographed the wall, those photos go up too.
Everyone following that gym gets an email within minutes. Following needs no account at all. An email address is enough. Only posting requires signing up, because a report fans out to every follower of a gym and ought to have a name attached. Following works the same either way, and both can be switched to a daily or weekly digest instead.
Other climbers who were there can confirm a report. A confirmed report is a report two people stood behind, which matters when someone misremembers a date.
The photo archive
Photos are filed by wall and by date, so every wall accumulates a history. You can scrub back through what a section looked like across successive resets, and put any two dates side by side to see exactly what changed.
That archive is the part that gets more valuable the longer the site runs. A photo you take today is worth little; the same wall photographed across two years of resets is a record of how a gym sets.
Where the gyms come from
Locations, addresses and opening hours are imported from OpenStreetMap and are available under the Open Database Licence. If a gym is missing or wrong, the fix belongs upstream in OpenStreetMap, and it will flow back here.

The gym list opens on your own country rather than on all of them, which it works out from your connection using DB-IP IP-to-Country Lite, under CC BY 4.0. Country only, never anything narrower, and the privacy policy says exactly what that does and does not involve.
Your email address
We use it to send you reset alerts for the gyms you follow, and nothing else. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to change how often you hear from us. You can unsubscribe without signing in.
